The Humanities and Social Sciences in Tunisia since 2011: Navigating with No Compass?

Since 2011, Tunisia has developed programmes in the humanities and social sciences, especially in the fields of law and political science. This production fuels the public debate and the editorial life, but does not organize knowledge locally nor within the university. The governance of the academic system weakens these achievements, discredited by the authorities and dissolved in the ever-multiplying NGOs.
