Into everyday life night(s). Delving into some nightly routines of today’s France

The article explores everyday life nights. It tests the counter-intuitive and paradoxical hypothesis of a nightly everyday life of – by nature – extra-ordinary nights, by drawing on a few outstanding figures’ lifestyles. More broadly, the article opens up a reflection on the construction of a daily life outside the oecumene (i. e. the social spaces), given that the very condition of inhabiting the night consists in resisting physiological and social limitations.
