For a “Musical” Reception of Contemporary Theater

Theater has reached its visual specificity by inventing stage writing. Its acoustic specificity was also obtained during the classical era by giving a musical touch to dramatic texts, thanks to figures of speech. Now the actor’s voice, producing breath and sounds, has become the material and base of a new dramatic language used by contemporary writers (for example in the Novarina’s plays).
